Chargers Hayden Hurst Limited In Practice Again

Chargers' Hayden Hurst: Limited in practice again

Tight end could miss second straight game with calf injury

Hurst injured his calf in Week 13 against the Raiders and did not play in Week 14 against the Dolphins. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Chargers are hoping to get tight end Hayden Hurst back on the field soon, but it doesn't look like it will happen this week.

Hurst was limited in practice again on Thursday, according to the Chargers' official injury report. He injured his calf in Week 13 against the Raiders and did not play in Week 14 against the Dolphins.

If Hurst can't play on Sunday against the Titans, it would be a big blow to the Chargers' offense. Hurst has been a key part of the passing game this season, catching 22 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns.

The Chargers are also dealing with injuries to wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Allen has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, while Williams has been dealing with a high ankle sprain.

If Hurst, Allen and Williams can't play on Sunday, the Chargers will be without their top three pass-catching options.
