Install ACPI Driver for Kabylake Platform Products

Windows 7 64-bit Compatibility

Intel recommends using this ACPI Driver package exclusively for Kabylake platform products with Windows 7 64-bit operating systems. There is no compatible driver for Windows 7 32-bit systems.

Device Identification

In Windows Device Manager, the device will display as "ACPIMSFT0101" under "Other Devices" (see Figure 1).

Installation Instructions

1. Download the Microsoft hotfix for the ACPIMSFT0101 device.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file.
3. Open a command prompt window with administrator privileges.
4. Navigate to the folder where the hotfix files are located.
5. Run the following command: hotfix.exe

Restart Required

After installing the hotfix, you must restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Additional Notes

• If you encounter any issues during installation, refer to the Microsoft hotfix documentation.
• This driver is only compatible with Kabylake platform products.
