Amazon Announces Expansion in Florida with Six New Buildings, Including Tallahassee Fulfillment Center

Amazon has announced plans for six new buildings in Florida, including a 630,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Tallahassee. The Tallahassee facility is expected to create over 2,000 jobs and will be Amazon's sixth robotic fulfillment center in the state. The other five buildings will be located in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami.

The expansion is part of Amazon's continued investment in Florida, where the company already has 85 facilities in operation. Amazon employs over 50,000 people in Florida and has invested over $15 billion in the state since 2010.

The new buildings will support Amazon's growing e-commerce business and will help the company meet the increasing demand for its products and services. Amazon expects to create over 100,000 new jobs in the United States in 2023.
